The new 2010 MotorMate car handbook is full of exciting new articles, helpful
hints and tips whilst maintaining its practical character as the leading AA Endorsed
car handbook in South Africa.
Like last year’s edition it now doubles as a handy note book too. Our designers
have made some interesting and very important changes to it this year, with a
focus on additional value. Our focus has been on road safety for a while now whilst
supporting the Arrive Alive campaigns, some of the articles in this edition ensure
that whether you are in a car or on a bike you have better awareness of road safety.
The log book section in this year’s MotorMate has been adapted to include the
columns required by SARS. As from March 2010, SARS will require all taxpayers
who receive a travel allowance to keep a logbook if they wish to claim a deduction
for the use of their private vehicle for business purposes.
Bonus CD
This new edition is being sold with a bonus CD featuring the most wonderful combination
of both the sounds of African music and wildlife. So you not only get the MotorMate,
but attached to the front cover is a fabulous CD designed to create a calming
effect that will help drivers remain calm and avoid road rage.
Bonus License Disc Sticker
An additional bonus this year is the license disk sticker we have included. This
is not just any sticker, it features a beautiful Lisa Halstead wildlife picture
and more importantly, it has your name as the driver of the vehicle on it and
it has your next of kin. This is helpful in the unfortunate event of an accident as the emergency services
would know who to call and the number to dial.
